Homewood Care Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced full-time Cook to join our dynamic team in Bexley, NSW. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious evening meal service for our residents, ensuring their dining experience is exceptional. What you'll be doing

• Plan, prepare and present delicious, well-balanced meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents

• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in the kitchen

• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure efficient meal preparation and service

• Contribute to the development of seasonal menus and recipes

• Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and their families

• Assist with the ordering and inventory of kitchen supplies

• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Formal culinary qualification or equivalent industry experience

• Proven track record of working as a Cook in a similar hospitality setting with experience in European cuisine, particularly Greek and Italian meals.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and their families

• Strong time management and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

• Knowledge of special dietary requirements, such as those for residents with allergies or medical conditions
