  • $80,000-$85,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation starting salary

  • Full time, salaried position

The Hotel Royal has completed a stunning whole of Hotel renovation including a brand new, state of the art kitchen, new indoor / outdoor casual drinking and dining areas, new table service restaurant, new 75 seat / 120 standing function room as well as a renovated sports bar, bottle shop and gaming room.

Successful applicants will benefit from working in a varied cooking environment. Learn all about the food industry; modern Australian cuisine, emerging trends, a la carte service, food preparation, functions, weddings and wine degustation dinners.

Any of the following will be seen as desirable for applicants:

  • Previous experience in an a la carte hotel bistro, café or restaurant environment

  • A quality driven approach to food production

  • A well organised and prepared in their approach to food service

  • Knowledge of relevant food safety requirements

  • Excellent organisational and team work skills

  • Previous experience in a busy environment

  • A hands on approach and "can do" attitude

  • Ability to work various shifts inc. nights and weekends

  • Experience working calmly under pressure
