Working across Aged Care, Education, Hospitals, Business & Industry, Residential Facilities and Youth Justice Centres, you'll step into kitchens where your leadership and culinary expertise make an immediate impact.

This unique opportunity combines the stability of a permanent full-time role with the variety of working across multiple locations, teams and sectors.

About The Role

Salary: $80,000 base + $10,000 travel allowance
Additional Benefits: Accommodation and meals provided when working in regional locations
Roster: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Sunday as required
Location: Victoria (Metro and Regional Travel Required)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead kitchen operations across a variety of Cater Care sites throughout Victoria
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality meals, including texture-modified foods
  • Manage food production, labour resources and kitchen performance
  • Maintain food safety, compliance and quality standards
  • Support and lead kitchen teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Essential Requirements

  • Trade Qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check and National Police Check
  • Flexibility to travel and work across different locations and sectors
  • Must consistently demonstrate respectful and professional conduct with team, clients and customers.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Previous Chef Manager or Site Management experience
  • Strong knowledge of food and labour cost control
  • Experience in aged care catering and texture-modified meals
  • Strong leadership, communication and IT skills
