The Fresh Collective is looking for a strong and forward-thinking Head Chef of Events and Production to lead our events and production kitchen operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who combines creativity with discipline, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to step into a broader leadership role.

In this role, you will lead the planning, production and execution of premium events and large-scale catering operations. You will be responsible for driving menu innovation, maintaining exceptional food standards, ensuring food safety compliance, managing labour and food cost performance, and leading a capable, engaged kitchen team.

Key focus areas include:
• Designing and refining seasonal, commercially sound event menus
• Leading day-to-day production and event execution
• Driving food safety, hygiene and compliance standards
• Coaching and developing sous chefs, event chefs and production teams
• Managing labour, food cost, wastage and key kitchen KPIs
• Communicating effectively with Executive Chef, logistics, sales and event stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
• Proven success in a senior kitchen leadership role within events, catering or large-scale production
• Strong skills in menu development, costing and operational planning
• Excellent knowledge of food safety legislation and compliance processes
• High-level communication and team leadership capability
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence working with budgets and performance measures
• The ambition and readiness to progress into a broader leadership role

This is more than a Head Chef role — it is a genuine succession opportunity for the right person.

If you are ready to lead from the front, shape the future of our food offering and grow into your next position, we would love to hear from you.
