Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food service, enjoys leading by example, and takes pride in maintaining high standards in a commercial kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food preparation and menu planning

  • Stock ordering and inventory control

  • Supervising kitchen operations and ensuring food safety compliance

  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment

  • Delivering excellent customer service

  • Assisting with the training and support of kitchen staff

  • Managing dietary requirements and food allergen controls

  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum requirement)

  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred, or willingness to obtain)

  • Current Working with Children's Check, or the ability to obtain one

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or supervisory role

  • A genuine passion for cooking and preparing quality meals

  • Enjoy working with children and creating positive dining experiences

  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, safe food handling practices, and allergen management

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Friendly, approachable, and professional manner

  • Current driver's licence and own reliable transport
