Longs House is seeking an experienced and qualified chef to join our busy and growing team. Longs House compliments the long standing (20+ years) and community recognised Lakeside Restaurant. 

Long’s House is set in a beautiful house dating back to the early 1900s, located next to Sydney Helicopters on Old Castlereagh Rd. Enjoy this beautiful location, working for a company that provides security, flexibility, challenges, and staff benefits.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and consistent service.


·       Casual Position (20-30 hours per week)

·       Evening and weekends shifts

·       Preparation and service across busy breakfast, lunch and dinner periods

·       Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency

·       Assisting with stock control, food safety and kitchen organisation

·       Working closely with a supportive, friendly and professional team

·       Opportunity to work in a well-established and respected venue

·       Competitive hourly rate based on experience


The successful applicant will demonstrate

·       Qualified chef with relevant trade qualifications

·       Previous experience in a busy restaurant environment (essential)

·       Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks

·       A strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

·       Is reliable, punctual and team oriented

·       Availability to work nights and weekends as required

·       Access to own transport
