Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and motivated full-time cook. We are offering an immediate start for the right person with no evening working hours.

Zouki Group is a national privately owned company running cafes located within major hospitals across Australia and prides itself in providing high quality food and service.

Responsibilities

• Follow the food preparation process and any other related activities as per the guidelines.

• Follow rotational menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety, quality and portion sizes of the servings

• Prepare and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer

• Maintain high standards in organizing and keeping the stations clean at all  times

• Maintain HACCP records

• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

 Requirements and Skills

• At least 2 years of post qualifying experience in a similar role

• Certificate IV Commercial Cookery qualification

• Manage to cook dishes by following recipes in timely manner

• Good Communication Skills

• Knowledge of international cuisines and ability to follow recipes

• Experience to work with modern kitchen equipment

• Culinary related education or certificate

• Vaccinated against Covid-19

Job Type - Full-time, Permanent

Pay - $80,000 - $85,000 per annum

Schedule - 8 hour shift, On site

Experience - Post qualification : 2 years (required)

Work Authorization - Australia (required)
