Production Chef

About us:
Six-Eyed Scorpion is a fast-growing condiment brand producing Australia's tastiest crispy chilli oil. Based in Coburg North VIC 3058, we're a small, close-knit team that are proud of what we do. We move fast, work hard, and love creating amazing products and achieving goals and targets.

The Role:
We're on the lookout for a driven, motivated and reliable team member to join our production crew. This is a part-time casual role (3 shifts per week) with regular hours (Tuesday to Thursday, 6am - 2pm), plus the chance to grow into a full-time role based on performance.

You'll be hands-on across all areas of production: from cooking and prepping ingredients, to bottling and labelling jars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fry shallots and garlic to golden-brown perfection consistently

• Perform repetitive tasks daily

• Assisting with food preparation duties such as: mixing, blending, and packaging

• Working with spicy chillies and hot oil (PPE & training provided)

• Bottling, sealing, and labelling products accurately

• Operating kitchen and production equipment safely

• Keeping the workspace clean and tidy

• Following strict food safety and quality standards

• Working with the team to meet daily production targets

What we're looking for:

• Minimum of 2+ years kitchen experience required

• Food production or manufacturing experience is a big plus

• Ability to work quickly, safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and good team spirit

• Eager to learn, be adaptable, and up for a challenge

• Someone who takes ownership and loves hitting goals

• Enjoys consistent and repetitive tasks

• Must have Australian work rights
