Not just another sushi job — work with produce we grow, serve on ceramics we make, and help shape a kitchen built on real craft.
We're looking for a chef who values precision, respects fundamentals, and takes pride in doing simple food exceptionally well.
We grow our own organic produce on our farm and create our ceramic tableware in-house using Japanese materials. Everything we do is deliberate — and we're looking for someone who feels the same way.
You'll be at the heart of daily prep and service, working across sushi, onigiri, and Japanese dishes. You'll deliver consistent, high-quality execution every shift, and have a genuine voice in menu refinement and development as we continue to grow.
Solid experience in sushi and Japanese cuisine
Strong knife skills and a firm grip on the fundamentals
Deep respect for ingredients, seasonality, and balance
A clean, precise approach — no unnecessary complexity
The ability to manage prep, workflow, and costs with confidence
You care about the details — and it shows in your work.
This isn't a production kitchen. It's a space where craft is taken seriously:
Work with produce grown on our own farm
Serve on ceramics we design and fire ourselves
Real input into the direction of the menu
Exposure to a higher-end omakase offering
A calm, focused kitchen culture where the work speaks for itself
Staff meals — eat well while you work
A genuinely great team — good people who care about what they do
A beautiful, considered venue — a space you'll actually enjoy coming to
Easy to get to — we're close to public transport
Competitive salary with real growth potential
Room to grow — be part of shaping a concept from the ground up
If you care about craft and doing things properly, we'd love to hear from you.
