Locali by Romeo’s Italian Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team for an immediate start. This is a full-time position offering excellent work-life balance with daytime hours only, Monday to Friday. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will lead breakfast and lunch service, support and develop junior staff, and assist with kitchen operations including ordering and stock management.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Chef in a busy café, restaurant, or hospitality environment
• Strong experience preparing and delivering breakfast and lunch menu offerings
• Ability to lead, train, and support junior kitchen team members
• Experience with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (desirable)
