Senior Chef / Kitchen Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside the kitchen team in daily food preparation and service
Lead and support kitchen staff during busy service periods
Assist with staff training and day-to-day supervision
Coordinate kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
Manage stock ordering, stock rotation and inventory control
Monitor food quality, presentation and consistency
Assist with food cost control and minimising wastage
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
Ensure compliance with all food safety and workplace health & safety requirements
Work closely with management to improve kitchen performance and team efficiency
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Senior Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen Supervisor or similar role
Strong cooking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Experience supervising and supporting kitchen staff
Good knowledge of stock control and kitchen operations
Ability to maintain high food quality and consistency
Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience in Korean, Asian or BBQ restaurants is highly regarded
