About the role

Trentham General is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team in Trentham, VIC. This is a full-time or part time position for the right applicant where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking high-quality meals from our seasonal and locally-sourced menu
Collaborating with the Kitchen team to develop and refine new menu items
Ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently
Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
Assisting with inventory management and cost control

What we're looking for

Experience as a Chef in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Weekend availability
Strong working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
A passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create delicious meals
Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
Enthusiastic about maintaining high food safety and hygiene standard
