We are looking for an experienced, caring and dedicated cook who
is available Monday to Friday (25 hours a week)
brings warmth and creativity to the kitchen every day, making mealtimes a joyful and nourishing experience for every child.

As our Centre Cook, you’ll be the kitchen superstar behind happy tummies and smiling faces! With a sprinkle of creativity and a dash of care, you’ll whip up nutritious, child-friendly meals that fuel learning, laughter, and play. You’ll follow allergy-safe practices and maintain high kitchen compliance standards to ensure every child is safely and thoughtfully catered for. From culturally inspired dishes to comforting classics, every plate you serve helps little learners grow, thrive, and feel right at home.

What you’ll need:
Food Handling Certificate and Food Supervisor Certificate
Proven experience as a Childcare Cook
Certificate III in Cookery or similar qualifications
Current & Valid Working with Children Check
Mandatory National Child Safety Training
First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
Experience in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control
Experience in dietary and allergy safe requirements.
Certificate III in Children's Services would also be highly regarded
