We are looking for an experienced, caring and dedicated cook who

• is available Monday to Friday (25 hours a week)

• brings warmth and creativity to the kitchen every day, making mealtimes a joyful and nourishing experience for every child.

• knows that mealtimes are about more than just food

• prioritises children’s wellbeing by providing nutritious meals that support growth and learning.

As our Centre Cook, you’ll be the kitchen superstar behind happy tummies and smiling faces! With a sprinkle of creativity and a dash of care, you’ll whip up nutritious, child-friendly meals that fuel learning, laughter, and play. You’ll follow allergy-safe practices and maintain high kitchen compliance standards to ensure every child is safely and thoughtfully catered for. From culturally inspired dishes to comforting classics, every plate you serve helps little learners grow, thrive, and feel right at home.

What you’ll need:

• Food Handling Certificate and Food Supervisor Certificate

• Proven experience as a Childcare Cook

• Certificate III in Cookery or similar qualifications

• Current & Valid Working with Children Check

• Mandatory National Child Safety Training

• First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

• Experience in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control

• Experience in dietary and allergy safe requirements. 

• Certificate III in Children's Services would also be highly regarded
