KIN Bar & Dining at Point Hotel is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team and help shape the next chapter of one of Brisbane's most curated dining destinations.

KIN Bar & Dining is the culinary heart of Point Hotel. It is a refined, all-day dining experience shaped by season, ingredient and atmosphere, designed to move seamlessly from morning to evening and feel equally relevant for a relaxed breakfast, business lunch, evening drinks, dinner service or private dining experience.
Working closely with the Executive Chef and leadership team, KIN focuses on thoughtful food, genuine hospitality and creating memorable experiences for every guest.
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your section, maintaining exceptional food standards and supporting the wider kitchen team during service. You will play an important role in delivering a consistent and high-quality product while contributing to a positive and professional kitchen culture.
This is a hands-on role suited to a chef who enjoys service, takes ownership of their work and is committed to continuous improvement.
Prepare and present dishes to a consistently high standard
Manage and maintain your allocated section during service
Support daily kitchen operations and service delivery
Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising wastage
Ensure food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards are maintained
Support and mentor junior kitchen team members
Maintain a clean, organised and professional work environment
You will bring:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a premium dining environment
Strong culinary skills and attention to detail
A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
The ability to remain calm and organised during busy services
A positive attitude and willingness to support the team
Sound understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
Relevant trade qualifications and food safety knowledge
Full Australian working rights
