About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Mr Paisley's, a vibrant and popular restaurant in Caringbah, NSW. As our new Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality, innovative dishes that delight our customers. This is a full-time role, we trade 6am days till 2.30pm and based in Caringbah.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standard of quality, taste and presentation
Managing and training a team of kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and high standards
Developing new menu items and recipes to keep the menu fresh and appealing
Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure exceptional customer service
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced cafe/hospitality environment
Formal training or qualifications in hospitality
Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
Strong time management and organisational skills to work efficiently under pressure
Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team
Passion for creating innovative, delicious dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
Commitment to upholding high food safety and hygiene standards
