We are seeking a talented Commis Chef to join our vibrant team at The Boathouse Tavern in Coomera, Queensland. As a Commis Chef, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking high-quality pub classics and dishes our locals love. What you'll be doing

• Assisting the Head Chef and other chefs in preparing high-quality dishes

• Following recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistency and food safety

• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation

• Helping with food preparation tasks such as chopping, dicing, and portioning

• Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and timely service

• Adhering to health and safety regulations in the kitchen

What we're looking for

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (completed).

• Experience in a busy restaurant, bistro, or hotel kitchen.

• A genuine love for great food and a hunger to learn and grow.

• Strong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen procedures.

• Excellent time management and communication skills.

• High standards of presentation, cleanliness, and teamwork.
