Spring Valley Golf Club is a prestigious and exclusive private golf club known for its exquisite cuisine and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate full time / part time Senior Chef de Partie to join our culinary team and contribute to the culinary excellence for our members and guests. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in your assigned section, ensuring consistency and adherence to established recipes and standards.

  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop and update menus, taking into account seasonal availability and member preferences.

  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring efficient ingredient utilisation, minimizing wastage, and placing orders as required.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organised workspace at all times.

  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring their continuous development and adherence to established standards.

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and member functions, ensuring exceptional quality and service.

  • Support with dishwashing during peak periods, ensuring the efficient and timely cleaning of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

  • Adhere to waste management procedures, including sorting and disposal of garbage and recyclable materials.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a restaurant, club or hotel setting.

  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • A creative and innovative approach to food preparation and presentation.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • A commitment to maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional quality.

  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
