As a well-established and growing business, we are seeking a motivated and experienced, chef, cook, Restaurant Manager, Retail Manager.

Retail Store Manager - $76,000.00 to 85,000 Plus Superannuation

Location: South Port, Cairns Central, Clermount, Dysart, Peak Downs, Blackwater, Emerald, Captains Mountain, Moranbah, Wulguru, Drighton, Gladstone, Roma

  • Drive sales growth, achieve sales targets and meet other Key Performance Indicators

  • Inspire and motivate team members and lead by example

  • Recruit and train staff new team members

  • Working closely with HR for any workplace management requirements

  • Ensure the store complies with all OHS/HSSE requirements

  • Facilitate efficient and successful operations of all aspects of the store; including stock control and ordering, managing costs of goods, and completing daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting

  • Resolve day-to-day inefficiencies and other issues in relation to customer service

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to achieve store budgets through planned, efficient rostering and other cost control methods.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of products

  • Maintain our strong commitment to food safety standards in line with our food safety plan

About You:

  • Minimum 1 year of Retail industry experience in a Manager capacity

  • Qualification- Diploma or similar

Chef/Cook - $76,000.00 - $85,000 Plus Superannuation

  • Adhere to standards, portion control, and presentation styles for all dishes.

  • Collaborate with managers and team members to address issues and ensure proper preparation and presentation of dishes.

  • Oversee food rotation, hygiene practices, and occupational health and safety protocols.

  • Plan menus and ensure proficiency in menu planning.

  • Must have knowledge of making continental cooking.

  • Minimize food wastage and manage labour costs effectively.

  • Work with management to establish daily and weekly production targets.

  • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to control food costs.

  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.

  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational abilities.

  • Ensure all kitchen-prepared food meets the highest standards of quality.

About You:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Certification in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or IV), Diploma.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Restaurant Manager - $76,000.00 - $85,000 Plus Superannuation

Moranbah, Clermont, Dysart, Peak Downs, Blackwater, Emerald, Captains Mountain, Wulguru, Drighton, Gladstone, Calliope, Toogoolawah, Roma.

  • Working with the chef and other kitchen staff to determine the contents and pricing of the menu, considering customer demand and seasonal trends.

  • Monitoring and ensuring monthly compliance with budgetary requirements and goals.

  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing activities to increase revenue and market share.

  • Managing inventory and ordering stock as required to ensure it is fresh and of high quality.

  • Making sure the dining area of the restaurant is presented to a high standard for the ultimate customer experience.

  • Ensuring company policies and procedures regarding occupational health and safety requirements are always upheld and embedded in the work culture.

  • Recruiting, rostering, training, and termination of staff . This includes conducting interviews, performance reviews, and staff development sessions.

  • Developing and implementing customer service policies to be applied across the restaurant by all staff .

  • Providing recommendations at company meetings regarding how to improve customer satisfaction based upon customer feedback received.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Minimum of 2 years of experience

  • Qualification- Diploma in Hospitality or similar.
