The Role

As our Pastry Chef, you’ll be responsible for producing a wide range of high-quality desserts and baked goods in a bulk cooking environment. You’ll take pride in presentation, flavour and efficiency while working as part of a supportive, close-knit kitchen team.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Preparing crib cakes, hot desserts, cold desserts, slices, mousses and jellies for daily service
  • Baking fresh breads including bread rolls, focaccias and baguettes
  • Ensuring all products meet food safety and quality standards
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

 

The Person

  • Must have full working rights in Australia
  • Must hold a patisserie certificate from Australia
  • Must have a sound knowledge of food safety standards
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance
