McQueens Tavern, situated at Angle Park, is owned and operated by Greyhound Racing SA (GRSA). Winner of the 2022 Clubs SA award for Best TAB Venue, the tavern consists of one of the state’s best performing club TAB’s, a sports bar, 40 machine gaming room and bistro. The site is also home to Chasers Restaurant which incorporates regular greyhound racing, Novita Bingo as well as other selected outside hirers.

About the Role:

GRSA are currently seeking an experienced & committed Chef to join our team here at McQueens Tavern. This position will be 20-30 hours per week and will be worked across a 7-day roster.

To be considered for this role you will have:

Demonstrated experience working in a hands-on bistro style kitchen
Experience preparing, stretching, topping and cooking pizzas to a high standard
Ability to prepare high-quality food consistently in a busy environment
Sound understanding of Food Safety principles and standards.
Excellent organisation skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Sharp communication skills
Availability to work over a 7-day rotating roster
