Your Opportunity

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chef de Partie - Pastry to join our pastry team.

As the Chef de Partie - Pastry you will work alongside the Executive Pastry Chef to deliver exceptional products.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead the pastry alongside the Executive Pastry Chef with full autonomy, ensuring consistency and finesse.
  • Produce exceptional plated desserts, afternoon tea offerings, petit fours, and banqueting pastries to the highest standards.
  • Innovate with seasonal and signature dessert menus while preserving classic techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and kitchen team while confidently managing your own section independently.
  • Maintain impeccable hygiene, HACCP standards, and kitchen organization.
  • Uphold the resort’s culinary reputation through attention to detail and excellence in execution.

 

You will demonstrate:

  • Formal qualifications in pastry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end, fine dining or luxury hotel/resort setting and boutique/pastry shop.
  • Experience with both à la carte and banqueting is essential.
  • Impeccable hygiene standards to ensure compliance with relevant Occupational Health and Safety procedures, including knowledge of HACCP
  • Proper stock control, ordering and rotation
  • Must be able to work autonomously
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Desire to work in an energetic team setting
  • Impeccable professional attitude including care for personal grooming, punctuality and service quality
  • Great attention to detail
  • Flexible with working hours
