An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Cook to take charge of the kitchen at a brand-new restaurant opening in Nobby Beach on the Gold Coast.

We are a contemporary bar and kitchen offering indoor and outdoor dining in one of the Gold Coast's most sought-after beachside locations. Our focus is on modern, approachable cuisine paired with an exceptional guest experience.

The Role:

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will have full responsibility for the kitchen. You will oversee all food preparation and service, uphold the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, and ensure smooth, efficient kitchen operations on a daily basis.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Proven experience running or leading a professional kitchen (gastro pub, bistro, or restaurant)

- A minimum of 5+ years' experience running or leading a professional kitchen

- Strong knife skills and a sound understanding of cooking techniques

- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene best practices

- The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

- A current Food Safety Handling certificate

- Excellent organisational and communication skills

- Permanent residency
