The Beach Willow Nursery Café is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook/Chef to join our team.

We are a busy nursery café located within a beautiful garden nursery environment, offering customers a relaxed place to enjoy great coffee, fresh food and a unique garden setting.

About the role

We are looking for someone who can prepare and present fresh, simple, high-quality café food. The role would suit an experienced café cook, chef, or someone with strong kitchen experience who enjoys working in a friendly, hands-on environment.

Duties include

• Preparing breakfast options, lunch and cabinet food

• Preparing cakes, slices, sandwiches, salads and light meals

• Assisting with menu ideas and seasonal specials

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen

• Following food safety and hygiene requirements

• Managing food preparation, stock rotation and waste control

• Working with the café team to provide a great customer experience

About you

You will be:

• Experienced in café, restaurant or kitchen food preparation

• Reliable, organised and able to work independently

• Calm and efficient during busy periods

• Passionate about fresh, simple and well-presented food

• Friendly, positive and a good team player

• Aware of food safety, cleaning and hygiene standards

• Able to work weekends
