About the Role
This hands-on Chef role is based at Perth Airport and will see you preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold dishes for international and domestic airline passengers. You will follow set recipes and ensure food quality, consistency and presentation meet strict airline standards.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, best suited to Chefs who are confident with volume cooking and can maintain their cool under pressure. You’ll be working as part of a structured brigade, producing a high number of meals daily with a sharp focus on detail, hygiene, and food safety.
We are currently hiring for Experienced Chefs across multiple cuisines including Asian and Western specialties.

You will be joining one of the world’s leading names in airline catering, located within the grounds near Brisbane Airport. This client operates a large commercial kitchen and works with some of the most recognized global airlines, preparing thousands of meals each day.
They offer a highly organized kitchen environment with excellent systems, regular shifts, and supportive leadership. For Chefs who enjoy consistency, structure, and high standards, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills while contributing to something global. Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Prepare and cook hot and cold meals according to menu specs and portion guidelines
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and visual presentation
Monitor wastage and portion control as part of daily production targets
Work collaboratively with your section and wider kitchen team to meet deadlines
Keep your workspace clean and hygienic in line with HACCP procedures
Contribute to safety and quality records as required by aviation food standards
The Must-Haves
To succeed, you will need:
Full Work Rights in Australia
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
Excellent knife skills and experience in a commercial or high-output kitchen
Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety processes
A focus on quality and consistency, especially when following set recipes
The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A reliable, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
Willingness to complete a police check, pre-employment medical, and drug & alcohol test.
