About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at the Lockleys Hotel. As part of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our guests.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from our diverse menu in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Assisting the Head Chef Kahn Cowan with menu development and kitchen operations

• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen space

• Demonstrating strong time management and multitasking skills

• Communicating effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service

• Adhering to all food safety and workplace health and safety standards

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications or experience in commercial food preparation and service

• A passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment

• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
