We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Chef to join our Gold Coast kitchen team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, authentic Indian cuisine.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes with consistency and quality

• Managing kitchen operations during busy service periods

• Assisting with menu planning and seasonal specials

• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

• Monitoring stock levels and minimising wastage

• Supervising and training junior kitchen staff

• Ensuring presentation and flavour standards are maintained at all times

Skills & Experience Required

• Relevant chef qualification (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management - AQF)

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef in an Indian restaurant or similar style of cooking

• Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, spices, curries, biryanis, and tandoor cooking

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance

• Team-oriented attitude with a positive work ethic
