We're looking for an experienced Head Chef to help launch and grow BridgeHaus.

BridgeHaus is a new hospitality and social enterprise venture established by Interchange Shoalhaven, a community-based not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting people and communities across the Shoalhaven for more than 35 years.

While BridgeHaus operates as a commercial hospitality venue, it also exists to create opportunities for people to develop skills, confidence and pathways to employment.

As Head Chef, you'll be responsible for leading kitchen operations, menu development, food quality, stock control, food safety and team development, while helping create a food offering that people genuinely want to come back for.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be leading service, developing systems, mentoring staff and helping shape how the kitchen operates as it grows.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience leading commercial kitchens

• Requires a minimum of 3-4 years of hospitality leadership experience

• Delivers quality and consistency

• Understands food costs, stock control and kitchen performance

• Can lead and develop a team

• Brings creativity, initiative and a willingness to take ownership

• Enjoys creating food experiences that bring people together

BridgeHaus operates as a seven-day hospitality venue. As a member of the leadership team, you'll be expected to work weekends, evenings and key trading periods as required.

We're looking for someone who has done more than run a kitchen. Someone who has built teams, developed people, improved performance, contributed to business growth and takes pride in creating food experiences that keep customers coming back.

NFP salary packaging benefits are available. Renumeration package negotiable based on experience, skills and demonstrated outcomes.
