Opening in September 2026, East Pavilion is a brand-new, multi-million dollar 220-seat waterfront restaurant within the iconic Shoal Bay Country Club precinct, directly opposite Shoal Bay Beach.

Inspired by the port cities and coastlines of Asia, East Pavilion celebrates bold, generous Chinese cooking designed to be shared. Wok-fired dishes, premium produce and genuine hospitality come together in a stunning coastal setting, where two coastlines finally meet at one table.

We're building our opening team and looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to help bring East Pavilion to life.

The Opportunity

As Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for your section, working closely with the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine to deliver exceptional food quality and consistency across every service.

This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new restaurant before opening, work in a brand-new kitchen and help build the team and culture from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead your section during busy lunch and dinner services

• Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards of quality and consistency

• Support and guide junior chefs within the kitchen team

• Work closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth service execution

• Uphold food safety, hygiene and operational standards at all times

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role

• Experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment

• Experience with Chinese or South East Asian cuisine is highly regarded

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

• Positive attitude and a team-first approach
