The Kindy Garden Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and reliable Cook to join our friendly team.

This is more than just a cooking role. You'll play an important part in children's daily lives by preparing nourishing meals, supporting healthy eating habits and occasionally sharing cooking experiences with curious young learners.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0 to 5 years while maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen presentation.

The role includes:

• Preparing and serving meals and snacks

• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety requirements

• Assisting with menu planning and recipe ideas

• Managing food orders and stock rotation

• Supporting cooking experiences with children where appropriate

• Working collaboratively with educators and leadership

About You

You don't need formal cooking qualifications to apply.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Enjoy cooking and preparing wholesome meals

• Are organised and able to work independently

• Have a positive and friendly attitude

• Take pride in your work

• Hold, or are willing to obtain, a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Experience in childcare, schools, hospitality, aged care, catering or commercial kitchens will be highly regarded but is not essential.
