Chef / Cook – BUNA Café

BUNA Cafe is seeking a passionate Chef or highly experienced Cook to join our team.

This Job is for roughly 20 hours a week with opportunity to gain more hours when we open BUNA AFTER DARK, at night for tapas. It will be a requirment that you will need to work nights when we go live with night service.

At BUNA, we take great pride in what we create and what we provide to our community. Our menu is built on a quality over quantity philosophy, with a strong focus on fresh, house-made dishes and thoughtful presentation.

Equally important to us is the culture within our team. One of our greatest priorities as a business is maintaining a positive, respectful and supportive work environment, where everyone feels valued and works together to deliver an exceptional experience.

We are looking for someone who is hard-working, reliable and a genuine team player. Someone who takes pride in their craft, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and shares the same passion for hospitality that we do.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience as a Chef or Cook in a fast-paced kitchen

  • Be organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure

  • Work confidently both independently and within a team

  • Take pride in presentation and consistency of dishes

  • Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to every service

What we offer:

  • A supportive and professional team culture

  • The opportunity to contribute creatively to menu development and specials

  • Casual position with consistent hours

  • Opportunity to grow within an evolving hospitality group

  • If you're someone who values quality, creativity and a strong team culture, we would love to hear from you.
