We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our fast-paced production kitchen. This role is perfect for a professional who thrives in a high-volume environment, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts to company standards and recipes.

• Manage daily production schedules to meet wholesale and retail demands.

• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all items.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times.

• Manage stock rotation, ingredient ordering, and waste minimisation.

• Collaborate with the Head Chef and wider team on new product development.

• Train and supervise junior staff as required.

About You:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef in a production or commercial kitchen.

• Strong technical skills across pastry, baking, and dessert preparation.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.

• Excellent organisation and time management skills.

• Understanding of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene best practices.

• Creativity and passion for pastries, with a commitment to innovation.
