Head Chef $130 - $150K + super (Relocate to the Southern Highlands)

Lucette is a French bistro on Bowral’s High Street, in the heart of the Southern Highlands New South Wales, just 90 minutes from Sydney. Since opening, it has quickly found its place as a busy, well-loved local and tourist destination and as the group grows, we’re looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen.

This role suits a confident, steady leader who takes pride in running a well-organised kitchen and setting the tone for service. You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef, Guillaume Dubois, formerly Head Chef of two-hatted Monopole in Sydney, to deliver a menu grounded in classic technique, strong produce and consistency. We’ve had early recognition from the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide, and we’re only just getting started.

What we’re looking for
• Experience as a Head Chef, or a strong Sous Chef ready to step up
• A clear, organised approach to running a kitchen
• Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-end kitchen environment
• Proven experience working with French cuisine
• A good palate and a natural sense of creativity, expressed through detail, balance and execution
• The ability to lead, train and build a team
• Calm, consistent leadership during busy service
• A genuine interest in food, people and hospitality
