Chef / Savoury Production Chef – Full-Time
We're on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our busy, growing local bakery.

The Role
You will be responsible for the daily production of our savoury range, ensuring all products are prepared to a consistently high standard. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, organisation, and quality are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing all bakery savoury items, including baguettes, sandwiches, salads, toasties, breakfast options, and other fresh products.
Batch preparation and production (no made-to-order cooking required).
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
Managing stock levels and product ordering.
Working independently while supporting the wider bakery team during busy periods.
Taking ownership of the savoury production department and ensuring products meet established recipes and standards.
About You:
Proven experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
Strong understanding of food preparation, consistency, and quality control.
A genuine passion for producing exceptional food.
Ability to follow recipes and methods accurately.
Reliable, organised, and capable of working independently.
Strong time management skills and a positive attitude.
What We Offer:
Monday to Friday roster.
Early starts (4:30am) with midday finishes.
