Chef

CHEF required on a full time basis for our 2 venues in Kew.

Town and Country operates currently as a day time licenced Cafe, and soon as a Wine Bar in the evenings.

Crudo Warehouse is our Events / Functions venue, with its own kitchen and bar for events from sit down for 100p to cocktail style for 130p.

We are looking for dedicated and skilled culinary professionals to join our team. You must be committed to exceeding our customer’s expectations while contributing to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Leading and managing kitchen operations during shifts, contributing to menu development, preparing and preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard, and ensuring exceptional food presentation and quality control.

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef in a busy cafe, restaurant, hotel or similar fast paced environment

• Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for creating great food

• The ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure

• A team focused attitude with excellent communication skills

• Relevant culinary qualifications ( Commercial Cookery III or IV or Diploma)

• A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

The successful candidate will be offered:

A competitive salary based on experience, with opportunities for growth as the business evolves. The annual salary range is: $80,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation.
