The Leprechaun Café is located on the beautiful Estuary Rd in Dawesville, WA, and offers a selection of made to order breakfasts and lunches, as well as light meals and a selection of morning and afternoon tea items.

We are looking for skilled, reliable, and passionate cooks to join our team as we develop and grow our little café by the water.


You will be required to:

  • Prepare and cook café-style breakfasts and lunches to order,

  • Bake a selection of cakes, tarts, frittata, etc.

  • Manage stock levels

  • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures

  • Work 7:00am to 3.30pm


We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in breakfast/short-order cooking

  • Minimum 6 months commercial baking experience required

  • Ideally would have a Food Safety Supervisor certificate; or willing to complete one within 90 days of commencement

  • Attention to detail and pride in presentation

  • Calm, clean, and organised work style; able to work under pressure

  • Able to work solo in the kitchen

  • A great attitude and early-morning energy

  • Someone who is happy to train other staff and share their knowledge

  • Must hold a valid work visa or equivalent work rights in Australia
