Sous Chef

We are reopening for night service and we are seeking an experienced, committed and talented chef to join our team.

Full time position starting August.

Hours are as follows:

Wed & Thursday: 7am - 3:30pm

Fri, Sat, Sun: 2pm - 10:30pm

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Running the kitchen team for the 3 nights as a sous chef and then 2 breakfast lunch shifts as a CDP.

• The preparation of food to a consistently high standard

• Seasoning and cooking elements of each dish

• Garnishing and presenting dishes for serving

• Operating kitchen equipment and appliances safely

• Monitoring the cleanliness and sanitisation of kitchen areas

• Keeping records of food products

• Managing, developing and training team members to improve results

• Ordering and stock control

About You

As our newest team member, you are committed to using the finest locally grown produce in your kitchen. You will have:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Qualified Chef

• Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Commercial Cookery

• A passion for creating amazing food using the best locally grown produce

• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

• High levels of self-motivation, with a desire to grow your career

• Full Australian working rights

• Reliable transport and drivers licence
