About the Role

Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will help deliver high-quality dishes while maintaining the efficiency and standards of a busy service.

Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:

• Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistently high standard

• Running a section efficiently during service

• Assisting with ordering, stock rotation and food preparation

• Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards

• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

• Contributing positively to a collaborative kitchen culture

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a similar fast-paced café or restaurant environment

• A minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a chef or cook position (for chef roles)

• The ability to confidently run a section during service

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Excellent time management

• A positive, proactive and flexible attitude

• A genuine passion for food and hospitality

• Pride in maintaining high standards and presentation

• The ability to work well as part of a team

• A desire to grow and develop your hospitality career

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) for chef positions
