The Commons Café, located within Cricket Central at Silverwater, is looking for two experienced Café Cooks to join our growing team.

We are a community-focused café serving quality coffee, breakfast, lunch and catering to visitors, sporting groups, corporate guests and the wider cricket community.

About the role:

✔️ Casual positions available

✔️ Flexible casual hours available (approximately 20–30 hours per week)

✔️ Day shifts only – no late nights

✔️ Breakfast and lunch service

✔️ Catering preparation and execution

✔️ Immediate start available

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have previous café, breakfast or lunch experience

  • Can work independently and efficiently

  • Take pride in producing consistent, quality food

  • Are reliable, organised and team-focused

  • Have catering experience (preferred but not essential)

  • Are happy to assist across the business when needed, including serving customers, delivering food, operating the POS and learning basic coffee preparation

At The Commons Café, we believe in a one-team approach. While your primary focus will be the kitchen, we’re looking for people who are willing to jump in and help wherever needed to create a great experience for our customers.
