Love a fast-paced kitchen, pub classics, and being part of a solid team? We’re on the hunt for a Full-Time Chef to join our friendly crew at The Dag Pub, a well-known local favourite serving great food, cold beers and good vibes.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role in a busy pub kitchen where you’ll help deliver consistent, high-quality meals and keep service running smoothly.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking meals during service

  • Maintaining high standards of presentation and consistency

  • Food prep, stock rotation & kitchen cleanliness

  • Following food safety and hygiene standards

  • Working efficiently as part of a team

  • Assisting with menu ideas and specials (if you’re keen!)


What We’re Looking For

We’d love someone who is:

  • Reliable, motivated and takes pride in their work

  • Experienced in a commercial kitchen (pub experience highly regarded)

  • Calm under pressure during busy services

  • A team player with a positive attitude

  • Available for weekends, nights and peak periods

Must have:

  • Food Safety knowledge

  • Ability to work in Australia

  • Trade qualification preferred
