THE POSITION

• Responsible for direction, coaching and hands-on support to drive a strong onsite team.
• Lead menu design, food preparation and high-quality service delivery across all offerings.
• Plan, supervise and monitor production for functions and daily in-house catering.
• Build strong relationships while maintaining excellence in food safety, allergen control and OHS.
• Oversee procurement, stock management, cost control and minimise food wastage.

THE PERSON

• Qualified chef with minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
•  Creative culinary leader, strong presentation skills, and a passion for seasonal, local produce
• Engaging communicator able to build positive relationships with staff, clients and students
• Experienced team mentor with a track record in training, developing and guiding teams and delivering corporate-style functions
• Adaptable and energetic professional who can multitask, forward-plan, remain focused in changing environments
• Hold (or obtain) a Working With Children Check
