The BBQ Father Restaurant located in Exmouth WA is looking for a Cook.

Positions: COOK – Full time

Location: Exmouth WA

Remuneration: $80,000.00 per annum

Duties and job description:

The Cook is responsible for preparing dishes for The BBQ Father customers. Duties will include prepping dishes by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, cooking dishes, checking ingredients for freshness, and arranging and garnishing the dishes. You will also oversee and ensure that the kitchen and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained. 

Duties: 

• Prepare ingredients on the daily preparation checklist according to menu items 

• Cook to the orders, according to customers’ requirements.  

• Ordering of stock and other supplies to ensure efficient operation.  

• Check the quality and quantity of received products.  

• Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure conformance to establishment standards.  

• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations.  

• Stock rotation, following FIFO (rotations).  

• Following HACCAP control, and maintaining OH&S standards  

• Training and supervision of staff 

Skills and experience required:

·      At least Cert IV in cookery or similar.

·      At least 12 months work experience.

·      Good interpersonal skills

·      Be able to work in a team environment
