About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at the Dumbleyung Roadhouse Cafe & Restaurant in Dumbleyung, Western Australia which is 267 kilometers south-east of Perth. This is a full-time position, and you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer service to our patrons.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of meals from our diverse menu
Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
Collaborating with the kitchen team to streamline operations and improve efficiency
Maintaining a clean and organised work station
Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to customer requests
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a similar hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
Commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene
Excellent communication and customer service skills
