The Role
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Chef de Partie with Wok and Grill experience to inject passion and leadership into our high-volume kitchen. Positions are available immediately, so we are ready to fast-track the right candidates into our team. You will run a dedicated section, bringing high vibes and technical skill to ensure absolute precision, consistency, and speed during our famous service rushes.
What You Will Do
Take full ownership of your assigned kitchen section, maintaining high-energy momentum from prep to plating.
Produce and present AKIBA's signature dishes to exact specifications.
Supervise and mentor junior commis chefs and apprentices working on your line.
Monitor stock levels, handle daily ordering for your section, and minimize food waste.
Maintain flawless food safety, allergen management, and kitchen hygiene protocols.
What We Are Looking For
The Energy: A vibrant, proactive, positive attitude with a genuine passion for fast-paced kitchen environments.
The Experience: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and solid experience running a section in a high-volume restaurant.
Deep understanding of modern culinary techniques (wood, charcoal or wok experience is highly regarded).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct junior staff under intense service pressure.
Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, team-first mindset.
What We Offer
