Tatler Lane by Sweetbrew is an award-winning café, specialty coffee roastery, licensed venue and event space located in the heart of Launceston.

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a motivated Chef, Commis Chef or Experienced Cook to join our kitchen team.

This role is suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a fast-paced environment and can confidently work independently when required, while contributing positively to a supportive and collaborative kitchen team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes with consistency and attention to detail

• Working across breakfast, lunch, functions and evening services

• Running a section independently during service

• Maintaining strong preparation, organisation and kitchen systems

• Supporting daily kitchen operations and service execution

• Contributing to a clean, safe and efficient kitchen environment

• Upholding food safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef, Commis Chef or Experienced Cook

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your section and shift

• Calm, organised and efficient during busy service periods

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

• Positive attitude and team-first approach

• Reliable and punctual

• Availability to work a combination of day shifts, weekends and evening services

• Must hold existing unrestricted working rights in Australia
