We are looking for a Pastry Cook to join our team on a full-time basis at our venue located at Hadfield VIC 3046

As Pastry Cook you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and other desserts using high-quality ingredients

  • All aspects of preparing pastries including combining and kneading ingredients, proofing dough, preparation of custards, sauces and fillings and decorating etc

  • Ensuring all baked goods meet our high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency

  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new and innovative pastry offerings

  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols

  • Providing excellent customer service and assisting with counter service as needed

·         Assist with the development of new products

  • Specialise in creating customised pastries, cakes, biscuits, buns, and decorative finishes tailored to client needs.


What we are looking for:

·         Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent qualification (mandatory)

·         Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Pastry Cook in a commercial kitchen or bakery

·         Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP knowledge preferred)

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

·         Creativity in pastry decoration and presentation

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Flexible with work shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
