Our iconic waterfront steakhouse at King Street Wharf is currently undergoing a significant refurbishment.This is an evolution of a well-known Sydney dining institution, bringing together our heritage with a sharper, more elevated approach to food, service, and atmosphere.
Reopening in mid July, we are now building the culinary team who will bring it to life.
The Role
As a full-time Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the Pan or Larder Section - preparing and executing expertly crafted dishes that showcase our commitment to quality and flavour, with an emphasis on steak. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment.
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen.
Prepare and cook menu items in the pan section in line with recipes and restaurant standards.
Ensure all ingredients, sauces, and cooking stations are fully prepared and organised prior to service.
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to develop new menu items and refine existing recipes.
Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences.
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation in accordance with HACCP standards.
Strong cooking skills with a good eye for presentation.
A team-focused approach with excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff.
Availability for a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and opening and closing shifts.
