Chef or Quality Cook

An award winning and popular venue 20km west of Brisbane is seeking an enthusiastic and competent cook/chef who is passionate about food and wants to join an excellent team!
Casual basis (approx 30+ hours per week) but may lead to full time. Excellent hours with minimal night work.

Must be available to work mixed weekdays and weekends as required.

To be considered for this roles you must:

• Be a team player

• Have a minimum 2 years experience

• Have minimum 2 years restaurant/bistro cooking experience

• Be eligible to work in Australia

• Be creative and have a passion for providing exceptional quality food

• Be able to start in the next few weeks

• Be flexible

• Work independently as required

• Have a friendly, enthusiastic work ethic

• Be professional and reliable

• Demonstrate senior cook level competency and skills

Desirable:

• experience as a Chef, sous chef or cook with a passion for producing a good product

• strong leadership skills

• can produce excellent cafe style food & breakfast

Key Duties:

• producing delicious food

• overseeing day to day operation of the kitchen

• training & helping other team members to develop their skills

• Ability to order stock and control stock levels

• Menu planning
