Grandalfs Burgers & Tacos is a fast-paced, customer-focused burger restaurant known for quality food, great service and a strong team culture. We're looking for a reliable Cook who can work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high food quality and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items to Grandalfs standards
Operate grills, fryers and kitchen equipment safely
Complete daily prep tasks and stock rotation
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Keep workstations clean and organised throughout service
Work effectively during busy lunch and dinner periods
Assist with stock control and receiving deliveries
Follow recipes and portion controls accurately
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
Availability to work nights and weekends
Must be 18 years of age or older
Full Australian working rights required

Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can stay calm under pressure and understands the importance of preparation, organisation and consistency. Experience with burgers, grills, fryers or quick-service kitchens is highly regarded but not essential for the right person.
