Story Fresh is looking for a strong leader to help guide and support our Brisbane manufacturing site and production team.

Based at Salisbury, this role is ideal for someone with proven experience leading teams in fast-paced food production or commercial kitchen environments. While culinary knowledge is valuable, we place far greater importance on leadership, communication, team culture, and the ability to create a stable, high-performing workplace.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who aligns with our values and the culture we are building at the Brisbane site.

About the Role

As our Production Manager / Head Chef, you’ll oversee daily operations across production, lead and mentor staff, maintain quality and consistency, and help create a positive, accountable workplace culture.

You’ll work closely with ownership and key team members to ensure production runs efficiently, standards remain high, and the team feels supported and motivated.

• High standards around quality, cleanliness, and consistency

• Ability to maintain structure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
