Join our Cairns workshop as a Casual Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and enjoy flexible, local work. This is a great option for mechanics looking to pick up additional shifts around existing commitments while staying close to home.

You will be met with a variety of tasks, ranging from general maintenance and repairs to major engine component rebuilds. This diversity ensures that each day brings fresh and exciting challenges, contributing to a fulfilling work experience.

The boxes you'll tick:

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
  • Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
